Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role directly contributes to the Global Wells Organizations (GWO) mission of delivering safe, compliant and reliable operations by ensuring our practices, guides, processes, procedures and tools are being managed in a systematic and controllable manner with respect to GWO audit and self-verification and risk activities within each specific Region. This is achieved by interfacing with individuals within the central function groups administering audit and self-verification and assuring adherence to processes, procedures and tools within these specific areas. The Audit, Self-Verification and Risk Engineer facilitate the GWO Risk Process and support the regional technical teams in completing the annual process.

Key accountabilities of the role fall into one of two categories as the role implies:
Audits
- Support audit teams and efforts in assuring proper scope, timing and resolution towards closure of identified gaps.
- Provide regular updates of audit activities and findings.
- Provide a project management role for the MS Audit team with regard to timing of audits to be conducted, action of items to be closed and closure of gaps o Self-Verification
- Support the GWO self-verification practice at the Regional level to assure implementation and adherence.
- Provide regular updates of self-verification activities and reviews.
- Support efforts to develop checklists and programs within the Region.
* Continuously improve project delivery by identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization and performance improvement.
* Provide Regional perspectives on audit and self-verification activities which provide opportunities to reduce ris
k while increasing the delivery of safe and compliant wells.
* Maintain key Stakeholder Liaisons and Relationships with Audit and Self-Verification teams within other Regions and Central teams.
* Facilitate Risk Process, support the region technical teams in completing the annual risk management process including:
Supporting the updating Risk Register (now in RAT) and Barrier Attribute Tables
Engaging the engineering and operations teams to challenge the health of the barriers and the quality of their implementation
* Identify any new risks (point risks due to failed barriers or other high-risk activities that do not aggregate into an enduring risk event).
* Generate the RAPs and BATs from the RAT tool for the first level of review.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

5 years' experience in the area of wells activities

Previous experience 1-2 years in the area of Risk Activities

Experienced in MS Office applications or developed IT skills

Enthusiastic and self-motivated with attention to detail
