The RoleThe RoleHVAC draftsman for a multidisciplinary company specialized in industrial and offshore works, with the following requirements: a) Minimum 3 years experience in the subject field. b) Should be conversant with acad 2000, excel and preferably microstation softwares. c) Should be able to prepare: • Develop independently fully detailed duct layout from single line drawings conceptual sketches and engineering instructions according to smacna or dw 142 duct construction standards. • Shall be able to coordinate the duct works with other trades, i.e. structural, piping, electrical and interior design. • Shall have basic knowledge in the air conditioning design • Shall be able to do duct sizing from air flow data. HVAC plant room design • Shall have basic knowledge of different hvac equipments, in terms of function and space requirements. • Shall be able to develop plant room layouts and sectional drawings. HVAC piping • Shall be able to develop detailed pipe layout and isometric drawings. |
