QA Analyst Automation
The Automation Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring stability, availability and reliability of production platforms and applications through the planning and execution of functional and non-functional testing using automated testing tools and techniques.
The job holder will also be responsible for ensuring high quality systems development by developing, implementing and executing Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
Position Requirements:
Must hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in testing with at least 2 years of experience in automated testing
Test Review
Reviews test plans and recommend alternations if any
Reviews software related work products such as BRD, SRS etc. to detect issues that may lead to a defect in the software product at a later stage
Documenting all problems, test related documentation and assisting in their resolution as per the QA & Configuration Management Process
Collect record and review automated test requirements (Functional and Non Functional)
Automated Test Script peer reviews
Test Design and Execution
Conducts test coverage analysis with respect to automated testing
Designs test cases for the required testing
Develops automated test scripts
Trains others on execution of automated test scripts
Prepares test data
Executes test cases and log defects
Executes functional, regression and performance test scripts and log defects
Performs regression testing by executing automated test scripts
Updates automated test scripts when required
Requirements
Test Script Development
Development / extraction of automated test scripts using HP QTP
Experienced in development of QTP customized framework for testing
Capability of testing framework development in QTP
Possesses experience in DB check points in QTP
Having PL/ SQL knowledge
Automated Testing Tool requirements

IBM Rational Performance Tester
