The RoleThe RoleAn Exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a large Local & Government Company in Dubai as their Tender Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) Duties will include: Technical supervision of machines & Vehicles Inspect & maintain workshops Maintain & repair vehicles & equipment Prepare maintenance plans for vehicles including buses Prepare tender documents for spare parts & tools Analyze supplier bids Analyze maintenance & investigate to determine problem & report results This is an excellent opportunity for some one with a technical automotive background to now get experience working on the tender process for business as well as analysing the projects, the vehicles involved in this business THE MAJORITY OF THIS ROLE WILL BE OFFICE BASED BUT 20% WILL BE INVOLVED ONT HE SHOP FLOOR |
RequirementsRequirementsCandidates must have the followig Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar Minimum of 2 years experience Spare Parts experience within an automotive garage, or a service provider within the automotive business whether this be with cars, buses all public transport areas. Experience with preparing tenders - minium experience required in this 1- 2 years, candidates will have been involved with assisting the tender teams in preparing figures for parts, costs for parts and ensuring the costing remains low to ensure the quote for the tender is successful Prepare annual reports - maintenance Liaise with with senior management - excellent English skills required for this, Working in an office environment with willingness to also work hands on - you must be happy to do both Candidates must have either internal spare parts experience or working for a service provider, candidates only apply that are in the UAE MECHANICAL ENGINEER CANDIDATES - AUTOMOTIVE, DO NOT APPLY IF CONSTRUCTION |
