The RoleThe RoleAl-Futtaim occupies the pre-eminent position of the largest distributor of automotive products in the Emirates, and leads the rapid development of automobile business in the UAE, while continuing to contribute to our leading brands' worldwide growth. We represent Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Volvo and Jeep.To provide full after sales and service support to these world-class franchises, we have an established and growing network of service and parts centres throughout the UAE. Increasingly we are finding that our Technicians in these facilities are the face of our business and we want to reinforce that relationship and high level of service delivery. Accordingly, we plan to establish a brand new, state of the art training facility to bring on our own Technicians to do things our own very successful way.We are looking to identify an Automotive Training Operations Manager who will ensure the smooth running and operating of the Academy including Projects.The primary responsibilities of this function will incorporate the following; * Manage the operational aspects of the Academy* Monitor and report on Academy expenditure* Put in place and manage reporting system for the operational and financial aspects of the Academy * Oversee the smooth running of the Administration Team* Oversee the design and delivery of E Learning solutions* Manage all Academy projects to ensure the Academy is positioned as Centre of excellence* Manage a needs Validation process and act as the interface between the Academy and the business ensuring all needs are defined and responded to in an appropriate manner* Put in place a robust reporting system which includes, monthly Academy updates to the business, Key Performance Indicators for the Academy, Trainer and course utilisation, cost vs. income, Delegate feedback, certification levels* Manage and track all Academy Projects ensuring checks and quality controls are in place so work is delivered on time and all Stakeholders are kept informed, with any slippages being managed and resolved in a timely manner* Put in place and co-ordinate a training needs validation process acting as the main point of contact for all business needs, create validation criteria, formats and templates |
