Job description / Role
My client a global logistics company with offices throughout the world are looking to increase there team in Abu Dhabi.
They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to focus on selling into the Industrial Projects industry vertical. Sucessful candidates must be currently selling into the IP market and have experience working in the Abu Dhabi area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* To achieve given sales revenue and/or profit targets.
* To undertake planned regular daily client visits.
* To identify, target and secure new clients and thus to bring new profitable business on a consistent basis.
* Manage existing clients and attend to their rate requests, queries, complaints, etc.
* To liaise between client and customer service/operations for smooth handling of shipments.
* To prepare and submit given reports with set periodicity and as per the formats provided.
* To keep oneself and the management updated on the relevant market and competition information.
* To build business relations with the carriers to procure better rates and desired service.

Requirements
* 2-3 Sales experience in Abu Dhabi particularly in the Industrial Project industry.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, financial and commercial management skills
* Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, presentation, listening
* Quality focused with a high attention to detail
* Extremely organized - PC literate
* Works according to plan, meets or surpass deadlines.
* To participate in special sales drive as and when and in the manner planned by the Sales head.
