Job description / Role
We are looking for a Senior level qualified BIM Specialist with a strong design background to work in Doha, Qatar.
You must be able to demonstrate part Metro and underground rail projects experience and be able to join the team and begin contributing to the project designs immediately.
Requirements
- Leadership, time management and communications skills - written and oral, essential
- Middle East experience is desirable
- A proven track record in coordination and management of Information Models for large multidisciplinary buildings and/or infrastructure projects
- Sound understanding of professional consulting services with client focus and driven to achieve timeframes and budgets
- Experienced in using BIM tools for clash detection and reporting, scheduling, IFC transfers, CAD, renderings and presentations
- Competencies in coordinate BIM models with external clients using BIM platforms
- Knowledge of construction methods and experience in resolving technical issues throughout all stages of design and construction
- Proven ability to generate deliverables from models skills.
- 10 years production experience in design engineering
- In-depth working knowledge of current BIM technology Autodesk
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good team player
