BIM Specialist

Job description / Role

To actively contribute towards the company Vision of becoming the leading provider of Premium Access Solutions and Services enabling better buildings, the position holder is responsible for specifying products as BIM (Building Information Modeling) / Revit solutions through intermediaries like Architects, Consultants and influencers. Technical Specialist and critical member of the Pre-sales team in the company. Effectively communicate with architects and designers of BIM / Revit solutions we offer, to raise specification standard and create more opportunities for the company in the market of MENA Region.

Managerial and Coordination Requirements:
- Leverage BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation to Architects
- Prepare technical specifications using BIM for all Company products for projects in Design stage
- Coordinate with HQ and other regions for Door Hardware system BIM objects to enable access solutions to Architects
- Develop solution specific BIM modeling content for projects requirements
- Communicate with Architects / Consultants / Designers to adapt their exact requirements and concerns
- Prepare own discipline model and / or content for BIM coordination Meetings with Architects
- Export DWF (Design Web Format) and other formats for collaboration internally and externally
- Follow BIM content standards and development procedures
- Ensure specification documents accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Architecture/ Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience in related field
- Certificate in BIM, Revit & AutoCAD is required
- Certificate in ANSI / GAI preferred
- Result-oriented and team worker
- Knowledge of ANSI / ISO / DIN / EN standards
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of English (CEFR Level B2)
