BMS Operator

Job description / Role

1. To maintain and repair the control system of the BMS controlled HVAC system throughout the site. Routine check for correct operation of all equipment can be carry out.
2. To check routinely for correct operation of all equipment in locations that include BMS control of systems.
3. To monitor the operation and adjust variables as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within the parameters.
4. To monitor and record values of HVAC system to build up database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
5. To resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may rise any time. Communicate all maintenance and repair action in writing for information to management as required.
6. To ensure proper maintenance of materials and to advise on technology and modifications required to improve efficiency and cost savings.
7. To renovate and to replace equipment as required by fault finding to maintain equipment in optimal performance condition.
8. To provide advice to department on selection and requisition of materials for use in the maintenance and repair of equipment and to check whether the materials are fit for purpose and as specified.

To provide expertise in all facilities of the infrastructure and HVAC systems. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of electronic control of building services systems. Provide Planned Maintenance and reactive diagnosis and repairs to all BMS control systems down to component level.
