Banking Lawyer - Global Markets
Our client is seeking a mid-level lawyer with global markets banking experience. This role plays an important role in the provision of legal services to all departments within the firm. You will be working with one of the most diverse and dynamic legal teams in the region.
The Legal Counsel will provide legal advice and support to internal customers within the Bank and will be proactive in the provision of legal support and in updating the General Counsel and the related business group of legal material or regulatory developments that may have an impact on the business. In addition, the incumbent will be tasked with reviewing loan agreements, banking facilities, and/or LMA based documents and advising the business on the implication of amendments to the Bank's standard documentation.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have experience gained through a law firm or financial services organisation. You will have strong knowledge of the banking and finance sector and will ideally have an understanding of derivatives, funds, or wealth management. UK/US qualifications are strongly preferred.
