Banking Technology Application Support - Associate - Saudi National

Job description / Role

The Application Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring JP Morgan Saudi Arabia CIB owned and managed Systems/Applications availability. This position will also have input on Service Design, Service Transition, Service Strategy, and Continual Service Improvement across the application portfolio. This position supports applications on various technology with multiple tiers. Expertise in Unix, Linux, Monitoring, Web, Storage, DB are required. Strong expertise in one or more of these areas as well as experience supporting applications is required.

In this role, you will be responsible to provide:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Event Management
- Risk Management
- Change Management
- Release and Deployment Management
- Knowledge Management

- Interface with various support teams and ensure tickets and tasks are handled appropriately and timely
- Own incident resolution for Systems/Applications under JP Morgan Saudi Arabia CIB responsibility
- Support root cause analyze for owned and managed systems/applications

Provide infrastructure and application support for:
- Oracle DB; web app; Unix/Aix/Linux Redhat
- Application level monitoring
- Utilize monitoring tools such as: Tivoli Geneos
- Provide technical expertise and share knowledge with team as required
- Monitor the application performance and provide technical support as required
- Ability to learn new products and technologies outside of background experience

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support
- 2+ years of experience in IT operations, application support
- 3+ years of experience in formal incident and problem management
- Knowledge of ITIL processes

Highly Desired:
- Experience in Web administration
- Experience in Oracle DB or Unix/AIX/Linux Redhat
- Experience with configuring monitoring tools (Tivoli, Geneos, etc.)
