Employment: Full Time

The Bid Director is responsible for managing the end to end proposal process ensuring the activities are aligned to the strategic direction of the organisation. The Director is responsible for delivering proposals of the highest quality that best represents the Hart brand as well as offering a competitive product for the client.
• Responsible for monitoring the websites of commercial businesses, government and non-governmental agencies to identify opportunities to tender.
• Lead review of all ITTs/RFPs to establish if they are within the business’s capability and interest to tender, highlighting any issues and proposed solutions to input to bid/no bid decision.

The successful Bid Director will work collaboratively with the relevant Directors to influence and define responses by leading the Bid Team.

Requirements

- BA in Business
- Demonstrated achievements in winning proposals, with 5 years’ experience in similar position.
- Demonstrated experience managing a team of proposal managers
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Project a distinct advantage.
- Experience of producing proposals using proposal tools (Qorus or Xait Porter/Qvidian/PMAPS).
- Exceptional written and oral communication in English.
