For our Headquarters in Berlin with a long term transfer after one year to Dubai we are currently looking to recruit a Bid Manager EMEA (m/f).

Purpose of the job:
As part of the Systems* EMEA division, the purpose of this position is to to plan, develop, implement and manage all activities of proposal preparation and submission, including proposal strategies and the formulation of contract documents.

Key responsibilities and challenges:
- Plan, develop and manage all activities related to proposal/bid, pre-qualification and expression of interest preparation and submission for specific bids and pre-bid documents within the region;
- Collaborate closely with internal ( Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Bid Controlling and Product Planning from own or other divisions) and external interfaces, as they relate to projects for which proposals are being prepared;
- Ensure cost effective internal and external product selection, technical support and Proposal, Pre-qualification and Expression of Interest preparation, in response to customers solicitations and requirements, within the time available and agreed proposal budget;
- Take responsibility for managing and controlling the bid budget on specific proposals;
- Participate with Systems Business Development and Marketing staff to assist with Pre-bid activities designed to strengthen our Company and/or product positioning for upcoming Systems bids;
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving our bid processes, cost control and effectiveness.

Requirements

- University degree in Engineering, Business or in a similar relevant field combined with bidding experience;
- International experience from working abroad or with international clients;
- Experience in working on similar level in terms of scope, complexity, partners involved, internationality of projects;
- Experience in managing multiple internal and external interfaces in terms of employees, partners, sub-supplier, sub-contractors;
- Good understanding of the working environment for bidding on large, complex projects;
- Strong ability to lead large multi-disciplined teams;
- Creative and open for new solutions (analytical thinking);
- Excellent oral and written skills in English further languages e.g. German or French are a plus;
- Mobility and willingness to relocate.
