Bid Manager – Large Main Contractor

Our client is a leading main contractor, operating across all sectors and responsible for successfully delivering large scale iconic projects. Due to a continued desire for success, they now require a Bid Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Overview

Reporting to a Bid Director, this role involves leading all day-to-day aspects of an individual bid. The Bid Manager will be involved in every aspect of the submission and will possess an excellent appreciation of what their client needs. They will also have the ability to to convey accurately and positively how their organisation can contribute to the achievement of the clients requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will already possess:

• A contractor background as a Bid Manager, Project Manager or Design Manager
• Previous Bid Management experience.
• Good Design knowledge.
• Strong experience in Civils, Building and or Utilities.
• General understanding of the current standard forms of contract.
• Good communication skills, both oral and in writing.
• Good Interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and responsibility skills.
• Confidentiality.
• Ability to analyse problems and offer solutions.
• Methodical in their working practices.
• Able to work on their own initiative, within established procedures or as part of a team.
