Bid Manager - Leading IT Company

Job description / Role

Bid Manager is required by a leading ICT leader that is is currently undergoing progressive changes and expansion. They are currently looking to hire a dynamic Bid Manager/proposals manager to work on ongoing large scale projects and be the focal point between many of their leading teams.

Role:
- Manage the bid qualification process for new opportunities
- Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients resulting in requests for proposals and working with management to provide competitive and realistic quotations
- Manage the commercial aspects of bids and tenders with the Commercial and Operation teams.
- Preparing and reviewing the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all services are included in the final price to the customer.
- Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
- Manage the bid budget P&L with regards to competitive market places
- Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
- Monitor contracts progress and payment status and ensure that appropriate reporting of project contracts status is provided to the Project Management and other stakeholders
- Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
- Understand competitive market places, with sound commercial, P&L and r
- Work within time, cost and quality constraints

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience within a Bid / Proposals / Contracts type post, gained from with the IT Markets.
- Computer Science Graduate.
- APMP, ITIL, Prince2 certified.
- Confident and articulate in all communications in both Arabic and English, to all levels of management seniority up to MD / Main board directors and stakeholders
- Self-motivated and detail-orientated with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and maintain high standards for delivery, quality and accuracy
- A degree in a relevant subject
- APMP Qualified
- Prince 2 Certification (advantageous)
