Job description / Role
- Provides administrative support services to HR and Administration as required.
- Performs clerical and administrative functions for Company employees.
- Establishes and ensures the maintenance of personnel files and records.
- Coordinates with Immigration Staff to follow up on the status of processes, ensures that the necessary paperwork is provided.
- Checks and reviews all personnel forms and coordinates with departments accordingly to ensure that all required information and approval are in place.
- Prepares, reviews and processes personal action documents such as, new hire documents, etc.
- Provides employees with information relating to personnel policies and procedures as requested.
- Administers HR related initiatives, for example, Leave Recording and Performance Management.
- Provides administrative support to the Recruitment Section.
Requirements
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Studies, Business Administration or in a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas or Shipping Industry will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in the use of different MS Office Applications and Visio.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages (written and oral).
