Bilingual Assistant Legal Advisor - Bahrain - Leading Financial Institution

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to join their team in Bahrain. The role involves; monitoring and managing the legal risks of the business, reviewing all contracts and agreements to ensure proper protection and liability, advise departments on all issues related to law and ensure the business full compliance with the law. The individual must have top interpersonal skills to manage relationships at all levels within the institution and external parties. The ideal candidate will also have a legal background and will be comfortable drafting and negotiating legal documents

Requirements

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience, including sound exposure to English Law.
- Have at least 2 years experience working in the legal department of a financial institution.
- Have been exposed to the legal aspects of documents relating to syndications, account operation and credit facilities (among others).
- Have the ability to read, speak and write in both English and Arabic.

Skills that are not mandatory however are beneficial:
- Currently residing in the Kingdom of Bahrain or Middle East region.

It is essential that the candidate MUST be bilingual (English/Arabic).
