Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Billing Officer is required to work as part of the finance team to manage the finance department with responsibility for the monitoring, protection, reporting and the overall financial interests of Mindshare by implementing and adhering to financial best practice at all times.

- To constantly monitor the remit functionality; to maintain accurate, up-to-date records and submit regular monthly reports to agreed standards as required to ensure the remits effectiveness is maximised and its activities are in line with overall group strategy.
- To generate media invoices which comply with client requirements and follow up with internal team for Media plans and LPOs
- To create, maintain and review stocks and inventories for all equipment, consumables, documentation and any other supplies necessary to ensure that the role can function effectively and efficiently.
- To liaise with external suppliers on a day to day basis regarding their invoices and proof of advertisements in order to complete all necessary and pending tasks within deadlines.
- To constantly look for ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the remit. Additionally the jobholder is expected to suggest and implement improvements to internal procedures and controls to improve efficiency, reduce costs and to promote and protect the business interests of Mindshare wherever possible.
- To carry out duties as tasked, ensuring that Mindshare service standards, objectives, internal policies & procedures and code of conduct are met or exceeded at all times.

Requirements

- A Bachelor's Degree in commerce
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar field
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in both English and Arabic would be an advantage
- Excellent organizational, time and self-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
