Job description / Role
Miller Hay are currently recruiting for an experienced Billing Specialist for our client a leading international law firm. This role will be based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be western educated and native English speaking with experience in a similar role within a legal firm.
Responsibilities:
- To provide the Middle East partners and Regional Office Manager with support on all client billing-related tasks for the Middle East offices
- Perform duties relating to all client billing utilising the company's computerised billing software and working within established billing guidelines
- Set up and maintain client matter rates and cost exceptions as directed by billing Partners
- Run various billing related reports as required
- Generate final invoices for submission to clients
- Work with the billing Partners secretary to ensure all billing is completed in a timely matter
- Send invoice to client and where applicable submit invoices for electronic invoice submission
- Assist Partners with any billing related queries
- Provide monthly estimates to clients and billing Partners as requested
- Prepare and provide statement of accounts
- Assist with A/R tasks
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a law firm in the UAE (ideal)
- Team player, flexible attitude and self-motivated
- Strong relationship building skills
- Fluent English - reading, speaking and writing
- Strong numerical skills
