The RoleThe RoleOur Client is one of UAE‘s highly regarded group of companies with successful business in automotive, hospitality, industrial, properties and travel providing excellence and quality services and operates with the utmost integrity in a close-knit framework that inspires enduring long-term relationships with staff members. They are looking to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Manager to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the Bodyshop department. Job Overview: • Ensure the Bodyshop department achieves budget objectives by continual (weekly/monthly) examination of accounts, operating controls and composite figures in conjunction with the manager. • To operate the Bodyshop department efficiently. • Ensure accurate invoicing and job costing in the Bodyshop. • To ensure premises, equipment and other assets are controlled and used effectively. • To ensure all stock purchases are controlled and sold at a profit. • To improve the quality of customer service and retention by enhanced facilities, improved technical skills and effective marketing methods. • To ensure high standards of quality workmanship. • To ensure all parts estimated and authorized are fitted to the vehicle, any non-required but authorized parts are not charged to the customer or Insurance Company. • To maintain effective control of expenses in line with budget objectives by monthly examination of management accounts with Manager. • In conjunction with the achievement of labour efficiency targets, maintain workshop productivity records to monitor the effective use of labour. • Establish and monitor all training requirements and costs to provide satisfactory levels of skill, job satisfaction and cost-effective development of key personnel |
RequirementsRequirements• Minimum 3 yrs automotive bodyshop management experience • Minimum 5 yrs exp. of body and paint repair in the retail motor industry • Ability to control clerical work, administration, organization, systems, financial matters and leadership ability. • Well-versed in Kerridge system • Time Management • GCC /UAE experience is desirable • Arabic speaker is an advantage but not essential • Luxury brand experience is highly regarded |
