Employment: Full Time

Our client is a well-respected automotive player in Kuwait. They are responsible for representing some of the world's most well renowned brands. They have built up the business over a number of years and cover all aspects of the industry from sales, aftersales and parts. This is a great opportunity to work for a market leader. They are currently looking for a Bodyshop Manager.

• To provide quality repair facilities in line with both the technical, dealership and customer requirements.
• To organize the bodyshop department staff, Systems and working environment in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
• To market the bodyshop facilities to ensure performance and financial objectives are achieved.
• To maximize customer satisfaction levels through the bodyshop departments facilities as well as within the whole dealership

Facilities and systems

• To organise staffing levels, staff training, controlling the work quality and ensuring the staff work to the required standard.
• To implement approved paperwork and or computer systems in line with the requirements of the dealership.
• To ensure that the bodyshop department has the essential specialist equipment and tools needed to undertake the repair work.
• To operate and comply with the warranty systems and operate the customer goodwill procedures that are conductive with good customer relations.
• To optimize the use of the bodyshop department’s facilities in terms of a realistic return on investment by optimizing the utilization of the space, hours of opening and staff employed.
Financial Performance
• To help in the development an annual business plan that outlines the department’s financial objectives.
• To achieve the commercial objectives as set out in the key performance areas including utilization, margins and profit objectives.
• To control the credit given to customers and assist the accounts department or administration in the collection of any overdue accounts.
• To control the department income expenditure in line with the agreed plans and to optimize both in line with the companies’ overall objectives.
• To maintain and keep in good repair all the company’s assets employed within the department.

Marketing and Promotions

• To incorporate into the annual bodyshop department business plan realistic advertising, promotional and PR plans that will help achieve the department’s objectives.
• To produce specific action for marketing/promotional events and coordinating with other departments to ensure maximum success.
• To ensure that the department, in conjunction with other departments present to the customers the correct corporate image including site signage, general property maintenance, customer comfort areas, customer refreshments etc.
• To develop and maintain the highest levels of customer service in order to ensure customer loyalty.
• To make clear the offering of the entire customer services available including, delivery and collection, appropriate service loan cars, extended opening hours etc.

General Management

• To hold regular departmental staff meetings to outline future plans, discuss current performance, highlight any issue and establish future objectives
• To ensure that all bodyshop department staff remain motivated and focused upon achieving the department’s
• To ensure that at all times the departments pay and incentive schemes are implemented in an effective and fair manner.
• To ensure that the department complies with all the health and safety regulations together with any other such regulations that may apply.
• To regularly liase and work closely with all other managers and staff within the dealership in other to establish a positive and effective working relationship.
• To attend and contribute effectively to all dealership management meetings.
• To be available to give advice on any difficult problems in the service dept.
• To contribute to any property development or property maintenance projects

Limits of Authority

• To remain within the agreed expenditure limits as define in the annual departmental budgets and plans.
• To work to the agreed departmental business plans.
• To refer any final staff recruitment, disciplinary or dismissal decisions to the After Sales manager before taking any action or implementing any decisions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must :

• Have a minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Be passionate
• Be energetic
• Have drive
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic
