Job description / Role
Talk about an amazing opportunity to join a brand that is a fusion of sophisticated retail and the art world.
We are currently recruiting for an art retail franchise that falls under the group management. It is fresh from Europe and is already operating in the center of the art district in Dubai.
We are currently looking to expand the team in the UAE and open a new operation in Qatar. We are looking for strong retailers with a passion for art or the luxury goods sector.
We need people who can lead a small team, who can work independently. You need to have a solid understanding about retail operating standards, general store upkeep, how to manage day to day operational problems.
In addition you should have experience in retail reporting, tracking sales, inventory control, price negotiations and of course excellent customer service. Being part of the luxury segment, we need people who can naturally engage with the clients, explain the history of each product and make sure they understand the work that goes into each piece.
You should also have experience in taking part in small in-store events to help promote your brand. You will be responsible for low key marketing, developing and maintaining a client database and follow up on specific artist interest lists.
Requirements
In order to be considered, you must have a strong retail background from the luxury market 2-5 years fashion, accessories, interiors or art.
You should working experience of B2B and B2C sales.
There is also a strong need for people to who come from project sales, specifically from the UAE and/or Qatar market.
Native Arabic speakers and Expatriates are welcome to apply.
All candidates must have an immaculate personal presentation, excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written as you will be Brand Ambassadors.
You should be comfortable working face to face, on the phone and via e-mail.
You will be working traditional retail hours resulting in week-ends, late closings and a 6 day week.
