Job description / Role
Al-Futtaim Honda, part of the Automotive Division of Al-Futtaim Group, is the sole distributor for Honda vehicles, pre-owned cars, motorcycles, marine engines, power products and parts. Recognized as one of the largest independent Honda distribution companies in the world.
Al-Futtaim Honda is supported by a network of 10 modern showrooms and 11 aftersales facilities located across the UAE. The flagship Honda Dubai Festival City showroom was officially confirmed by Honda as the largest Honda showroom in the world.We are currently lookingforan experienced Branch Accountant to be part of the Honda team in Dubai.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
* Verification and submission of sales documents and submission of second sets to AFS for payment from bank.
* Assisting the Branch Account Manager in the Accounting function.
* Releasing Vehicle Custom Certificate (VCC) and sales letters.
* Assisting the Branch Account Manager in cash counts.
* Liaise with Cashier, Debt Collector and Sales Coordinators.
* Liaison with banks and debtors for the timely collection.
* Liaison with AFSS and facilities.
* Review of daily collection of revenues and deposit.
* Submission of documents to the managers for Deposit verification.
* Review of PDC's collected and posted.
* P to P billing, accounting and submission of Cheque.
* Validate final documents and authorize release of vehicles to customers.
* Process customer refunds, follow up for cheque and disburse.
* Review periodic physical inventory to match with system stock.
* Process credit application for credit customers.
* Ensure compliance with accounting and control related procedures & policies.
* Create Purchase requisition and follow up for LPO.
* Arrange for mortgage release letters for LPO/PDC customers.
Requirements
The successful candidate will posses the following qualities:
* Strong computer skills - ERP knowledge, preferably SAP, advanced MS-Excel knowledge.
* Must have an Accounting qualification.
* Excellent English & Arabic communication skills, both written and verbal is essential.
* Excellent with time management and with an auditing mind.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to communicate at all management levels.
* Minimum 2 Years work experience.
* Motor trade experience is preferred but not essential.
