Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

G4S is currently looking for a Branch Manager for the Cash Services Division based in the U.A.E. Reporting to the Operations Director; the successful candidate will be responsible for directing and controlling Operations, Cash Centers and other functional units of the branch. The incumbent will identify and introduce improved working practices to improve efficiency and productivity, achieving budgetary and performance obligations and the development of the overall business management team. You will assist and advise in the formulation of business strategies and budgets to further develop and grow the business.

The position requires leadership qualities to manage and develop a team to deliver excellent services with a passion for Customer Focus and an understanding of and belief in Continuous Improvement.

The Branch Manager is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

Team Work and Collaboration
Maintain a harmonious industrial relationship between management and workforce.
Contribute to the development of the Cash Business by identifying and sharing best practice and continuous improvement ethos with peers and reports
Work with the senior management team and contribute to the strengthening and improvement of the business.

Best People
Review existing capability and implement training and development plans for all management and staff
Implement staff appraisal process
Develop links with HR to ensure compliance with labour laws and develop a recruitment pipeline for candidates with your required skill sets.
Develop an appropriate succession plan for business.
Directly manage operational front line staff, supervisors, and operational managers and with overall responsible for the performance of the branch and its staff.

Customer Focus
Deal with the financial industry and retail customers in particular establishing contracts and business partnerships. Establish close relationships with existing and potential customers
Meet and exceed customer service level agreement expectations
Communicate appropriately with Customers, acknowledging issues and communication actions and resolutions in the required timescales, ensure this culture is embedded within the branch.

Performance
Managing the business risks and associated challenges of the business in a highly competitive environment including loss prevention strategies.
Develop a Customer Focused Cash Solutions business unit through improved sales, productivity, and efficiency.
Trade Monthly with The Operations Director reporting on monthly performance against forecast.
Develop your teams to meet financial and efficiency targets through a continuous improvement approach
Set and agree clear objectives with immediate reports, regularly monitoring their performance and taking corrective action for shortfalls. Establish the number of staff required in each department, and manage the recruitment of operational staff within Company guidelines.
Develop, maintain and analyze appropriate KPI metrics and reporting
Develop and produce appropriate performance reports and analysis
Perform all Branch Management checks in line with Quality, MSP and MODS procedures.

Expertise
Ensure that the branch adheres to policy and procedures.
To manage change within the Business and Branch Operations
Prepare annual budgets and Trade on monthly financial position and Branch forecast performance

Integrity
A strong knowledge and understanding of risk management and security principles to be applied in a practical way daily.
Ensure full compliance of all security procedures within the centre
Ensure full procedural and Health & Safety compliance

Requirements

Tertiary Education from a reputable university
Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience
Experience of developing successful management teams and succession planning
Strong commercial background
Proven experience in customer service
Profit & Loss experience
Excellent management and people skill
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principle
Capable of leading a Branch in a time of change
Experience of managing in a labour intensive, multi-shift environment
Ability to challenge the norm and achieve sustainable change
Experience of financial control and budget
Advanced English communication skills
