The RoleThe RoleYour duties: *Lead the local branch engineering team *Have full responsibility for the effective line management of staff to ensure that the branch is performing to its maximum ability *Be responsible for the recruitment, coaching, training, appraisal, goal setting and development of staff *Ensure the branch team is aware of, and follows, all legal and regulatory requirements *Support senior management in identifying and nurturing relationships with local businesses and external customers and develop these to firm contracts. *Financially responsible, having authority for expenditure to within pre-defined limits *Audit and monitor financial performance of branch & report to the Director India |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will have previously been employed in the role of Technical Team Leader, Business Development or Branch Manager within an engineering consultancy or technical services company. Ideally you would have a master’s degree with a focus in Aerodynamics or CFD or an MBA and a thorough understanding of the Aeronautical Engineering community and business. With a passion for delivering an excellent customer service, as branch manager you will be ready to take on extensive responsibility in a variety of areas. You are highly motivated and have a "Can do – Will do" attitude when faced with challenges and think of "how" not "if". You should be ready to work with a team of highly motivated engineers from around the world. Very good knowledge of MS Office is required and in addition excellent written and spoken English is obligatory. Your strength: You must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demanding deadlines. An innovative, adaptable individual with a commitment to quality service will thrive in this role. Professional in approach and performance, you have excellent communication skills and the ability to produce work of a high standard under tight time schedules. You are able to develop your man- and project management tasks creatively and independently and provide world class results. Further you are characterized by corporate and commercial awareness as well you are achievement oriented. |
