Branch Operations Manager - CMC - Kenya

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Branch Operations Manager CMC Kenya reporting to GM Passenger Cars and GM Commercial Vehicles based in Nairobi, Kenya

You will be responsible for the performance and budget achievement of the Branch network comprising of seven locations across Kenya. This role is to assist support the General Managers and Divisional Managers in order that the Company delivers its unit and profit targets. As a member of the Senior Management Team to contribute to commercial and strategic decision making in order that Sales and Marketing achieve their Financial & Operational KPIs in a timely manner analogous to the objectives set. To develop & implement unified business strategies to further enhance employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

To achieve this the key accountabilities of the role include the following:

Sales Operations
- Working with all Branch Managers (BMs) control all activities of sale staff in terms of prospecting, qualifying customers, demonstrating product, doing test drives, negotiating and closing deals.
- Working with BMs to ensure that sales process is followed at all times using all available IT systems fully and accurately
- Monitor performance of all locations and staff therein against key measurements (units, margin, net profit, F& I sales, ancillary products, KPIs
Ensure sales incentive pay plan is in line with market and company requirements to ensure business objectives are met and competent staff is attracted to the company

Monitor stocks levels at locations to ensure stock turnover is maximised

Managed and control all costs pertaining to sales operations at locations (with BMs) to ensure costs are closely managed and net contribution is optimised
- Drive Customer Satisfaction Programme (CSP)

This person will be responsible for implementing the CSP initiative across the entire Sales organization by working closely with the Customer Service Manager. He will need to meet the KPI targets of Employee Engagement (EE) and Customer Engagement (CE) by making sure that the sales team is properly trained and motivated to implement the action plans.

The job holder must ensure that the admin process is followed and operating efficiently to allow smooth running of operations at all locations (stock flow, stock turn, payments, documentation, etc.

The job holder must coordinate with BM's, PDI, Logistics to ensure good stock availability at all locations and stock turnover is maximised by way of days in stock strictly adhering to (FIFO) first in first out. Coordinates with DMs to ensure production orders are in line with market requirements (models, colours, etc.)

Supervises all concerned staff to protect and maintain Company assets

Requirements

- Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Graduate.
- Minimum Experience: 8 years of Sales experience of which 5 years as a Senior Manager within in an automotive related field.

Job-Specific Skills:
- Passionate about Automotive vehicles
- Financial Accounting - fully conversant with profit & loss
