The Role


The Role


The Brand Analyst is responsible for gathering, organizing and analyzing brand related statistical data, in addition to handling the buying process for the handled brands.

Forecasting and Purchasing:-
Develop the framework of analysis and recommend inventory levels based on environmental parameters, seasonal forecasts and turnover of buying estimates
Prepare purchase forecasts, purchase orders and track inventory levels
Coordinate closely with the regional buying team to ensure fulfillment of the budget in term of purchase of all forecasted lines

Planning and Analysing:
Prepare detailed sales performance reports for the designed brands: breakdown per outlet, per line, per reference.
Develop a consolidated annual purchase plan for all handled brands.
Generate advanced reports with cross analytical data based on market trends and marketing activities.

Coordination:
Generate or help develop tools to train shop floor teams on market trends of new collections.
Willingly accept responsibility for work while keeping other people informed of progress and possible.

Stock Management:
Manage stock at hand to optimise the sell through of the collection to reach the agreed upon target.
Responsible for re-orders if needed.
Follow up on the margins of all products and report any discrepancy to Division Manager/Accounts.
Manage old stock and study the amortization of the one year old stock and older stock and act upon it.
Is responsible for positioning of the stock according to the flow and trends of each shop and accordingly advise on products’ transfer.
Estimate the Points of Sales (POS) material needs (shopping bags / gift wrapping papers) in quantity and value.
Validate the cost with the division manager and present it to Marketing Coordinator.
Follow up on POS material stock movement, timely requesting replenishment.
Select the items to be sent to Staff Sale, Factory Outlet and the items to be on sale.

Requirements


Requirements


Graduate degree holder.
Min 2 years experience in a similar role with high analytical and coordination skills.
Expert in Oracle based ERP system and MS Excel.
Candidates from retail industry are preferred.
