Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE:
To represent the designated brand as their in market brand champion and to lead retail marketing efforts developing effective marketing programs that increase sales, build on the existing customer base and develop customer loyalty and retention.

To implement various brand promotions across the trade in accordance with, arranging all aspects of each promotion and monitoring to ensure compliance with requirements and budgetary constraints. Fosters good relationships with the brand owners, and assists the Marketing Manager in the formulation of the annual Marketing Plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Plans and manages the annual marketing brand plans in accordance with global marketing policies.
Organises and oversees brand sponsored events:
1. Planning & Executing.
2. Writing Press Releases and maintaining relationships with the media.
3. Public Attendance.

Sources and orders suitable POS for promotions and events:
1. Order Tracking
2.Quality POS available to market
Brand equity in market.
Coordination and implementation of sponsorships.
Attends Sales & Marketing workshops and conferences.
Implements specific promotions across the trade in keeping with brand image and benefits.
Liaises regularly with all external agencies related to promotional development and implementation.
Maintains a close track of promotional activities through frequent trade visits.
Develops and maintains direct contact with Principals.
Works closely with the Wholesale and Retail teams to coordinate and assist with the implementation of promotions.
Develops the Annual Marketing Plan.
Plans and administers the A&P budget for all annual marketing activities.
Manages all Point of Sale and merchandising processes.
Undertakes market analysis for completion of the Marketing Activity Review form.
Manages any product specific programmes throughout the course of the year.

Requirements

Education / Qualifications
Diploma in Sales / Marketing, or Graduate in a business related subject with specialized Marketing qualifications.
Fluency in spoken and written English (Arabic an advantage).
Valid Bahraini Driving License.

Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years in a Sales / Marketing environment.
Experience of arranging promotional activities preferable.
