The RoleThe RoleOur client, one of the Govt. Company, requires a Budget Controller to be based in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will head the finance team. Main job responsibilities are as follows: 1. Facilitate the communication between the Budget Accountant and all DoT Sectors to ensure the retrieval of all documentation required for the preparation of the budget. 2. Manage and review all transactions performed by the Budget Accountant related to the preparation of DoT’s overall budget 3. Oversee the communication with DoF for any update on the budget document forms 4. Manage and review the preparation of consolidated budget execution and budget analysis reports 5. Facilitate the communication and coordination between the Budget Section and General accounts Section to acquire the data for analysis reports and review all data gathered to eliminate any inconsistencies 6. Prepare a detailed summary of the budget and forward to Director – Accounts & Finance for review 7. Develop the Section budget in coordination with the Director – Accounts & Finance |
RequirementsRequirementsthe successful candidate will meet below listed factors to fit in this role- 1. Knowledge and application of financial Accounting practices & principles 2. Knowledge and application of accrual and management accounting practices and principles 3. Knowledge of government financial accounting policies and procedures 4. Knowledge of budget allocation and budget forecasting 5. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 6. A minimum of 6 - 9 years of relevant experience |
