Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives

The role of the Budget Controller is to prepare, monitor and control budgeting process with focus on budgeting dynamic analysis and follow up, and providing Budget and Risk Reports.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the line Manager to compile the Group level and Subsidiaries budgets to present the consolidated budgets.
2. Manage the annual budgeting process and oversee the monthly budget close process.
3. Prepare the consolidated activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and reports required by regulatory companies.
4. Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations.
5. Oversee/Prepare the budgeting process for general accounting and related cost projects.
6. Assist the line Manager in timely preparation of Group and Subsidiaries’ budgets, forecasts and budget vs. actual variance reports, and provide the Subsidiaries with technical assistance, where needed.
7. Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports to the line Manager and other Group executives as deemed necessary and suggest actions where applicable.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
9. Acquainted with the Group organizational policies and procedures, new accounting standards and directives and recommend improvements to organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

Job Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/MBA with finance or accounting concentration or equivalent.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience finance / accounting of which 2 years must be in a position assuming similar responsibilities with a leading organization or a Big 4 firm.

Skills
Solid analytical, numerical and research skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in both Arabic and English languages
