Exciting career opportunity for a Qatari National Budgeting Manager working for Qatar University.

The Budgeting Manager - Qatari National - will be responsible for providing leadership in linking the University's strategic planning and budget development process. Furthermore, you will also direct and manage budget cost studies and analysis of budget information to respond to external queries and to provide critical management information to senior decision makers. You will be responsible for designing and managing the budget, treasury and grant applications of the university's enterprise system which is currently the Oracle E-Business Suite and Banner Student system. As a Budgeting Manager you will be asked to direct and coordinate the University's budget, account receivable and grant section including organizing its structure, hiring, training, evaluating and supervising/monitoring staff.

Requirements

The Qatari National Budgeting Manager needs to have the below skills and expertise:
• A minimum of five years experience in a senior level or accounting position in a complex organization
• Previous experience working with an Educational institution is an advantage
• Qatari National
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable University. A Master Degree in Business or other financial field is an advantage
• Experience in implementing a new enterprise system particularly Oracle
• In depth knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost management principles and practices
• Financial Management experience in higher education.
• Solid understanding of Qatar law.
• Ability to Lead and mentor staff and work directly with Deans and faculty members
