The RoleThe RoleOur client provides a comprehensive range of consulting engineering, project management and facilities management services to its clients in the building environment. They are now looking for Building Modeller to join their team based in Dubai. |
RequirementsRequirementsResponsibilities: • Provide sustainable design expertise input for major projects • Prepare feasibility studies, system design and calculations for sustainable and renewable energy solutions • Competent in the use and application of a variety of software & simulation packages such as IES • Competent in the implementation of building energy rating schemes such as LEED or BREEAM. • Provide effective communication on project reports and correspondence • Co-ordination with all design team disciplines in the creation of design solutions • Regular liaison with clients, contractors and local authorities to ensure the project adheres to specifications, local building and safety regulations, and relevant approvals are obtained • Support the development of junior engineers providing technical guidance, mentoring and regular feedback Requirements: • Degree qualified and working towards professional qualification • 5 years post-qualification experience in ESD design and up to date experience of Quality Assurance standards • Evidence of the ability to design and deliver ESD solutions on major and/or complex projects • Appreciation of the balance of engineering priorities on differing projects • Maintain successful client relationships through regular communication regarding project progress and requirements • Outstanding planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines • Ability to work as part of a team and individually • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Highly motivated, hard-working and demonstrate a desire take on new challenges • Current driving license |
