Business Analyst (Finance)

Job description / Role

Inspire Selection is recruiting an experienced Business Analyst for a very large multinational company which has undergone a lot of transformation and growth in the past year.

Now employing around 100,000 staff globally, this role is to support the design, development, and implementation of the key commercial and operational processes, systems, and tools that will be used by employees. This will require a high degree of interaction with senior individuals throughout all the major business groups and geographic locations, and may also involve some international travel.

Responsibilities
- Maintenance and development of a standard in-house financial model
- Providing technical financial modelling support to major bids across the organization
- Act as a technical advisor to the business on all queries relating to the in-house financial model
- Work with external development team to create a web application version of the existing financial model.
- The role will be based in Dubai but may involve some travel

Requirements

- Western passport holder
- Educated to Degree level in Engineering, Finance, Science or equivalent
- 5+ Years experience in a Finance or Business Modeling role
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with a client service mentality
- Proven experience using Excel and Visual Basic in a business environment
- Strong systems skills and capabilities with a keen interest in understanding accounting data flows and collecting / analyzing data from multiple sources
- Ability to work in a high paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly

Technical Skills and Knowledge Requirements
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel and VBA
- Knowledge of a programming and software design patterns is essential
- Knowledge of project management processes and best practice
- Understanding of SQL and front end web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a positive

Salary AED 25-30k/month.
