Business Analyst - Payments

Job description / Role

Business analyst - Payments - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Salary/package TBC (Will include housing allowance, Bonus etc) - branch remittances, swift payment, clearing, bulk solutions.

My client an established and reputable bank in KSA is looking to recruit for the position of business analyst to concentrate on their Payments Systems.

This position will be key in solution implementations related to Payment systems, products and processes. Manage projects by planning and execution SDLC process phases, and managing project cost, time, scope, and quality.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Gather and analyze requirements and transforms into functional and non-functional specifications, design data & process flows with distinguishable business roles & responsibilities.
- Manage projects between IT, vendor, business groups and develop project plans using project management principles, organize teams and collaboration activities for payments related application changes and projects
- Jointly work with quality assurance (QA) team for designing test scenarios, execution plans for integration, regression, and stress testing.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) with users to ensure quality outcome of intended product as per SLA between IT and business.
- Provide work-around for operational and risk incidents; conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
- Document user manuals & training material for and organize training
- Communicate with stakeholders and corresponding members at IT departments in relation to project lifecycle activities.
- Ensure mandatory approvals from change owners and stakeholders for requirements , change requests, and coordinate change management appropriately.
- Manage business satisfaction regarding project progress, systems availability, service continuity, and capacity issues.
- Manage stockholders feedback/complaints in a timely manner.

Requirements

- Understanding of complete life cycle for retail, corporate, treasury and card payments
- Strong understanding of SWIFT, SARIE, ACH and other payment networks/ schemes
- In depth understanding of different payment products and trends
- Prior experience of working on large scale payments transformation projects and payment services hub implementation will be a big plus.
- Practical knowledge of different standards like xml, EDIFACT, ISO20022, MT, MX is highly desirable.
- Strong problem solving skills and hands-on experience in gathering requirements, writing functional specifications and conducting testing.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems
