Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 70+ brands and 19 countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshaya's multi-channel capability to deliver customers' choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.

You will provide support in the delivery of a number of multi-channel projects. You will work with the Project Manager and key business stakeholders to define requirements, business solutions and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities include:

* Being able to express the context of the change within the business strategy and existing change programmes.
* Analysing the scale and impact of the business change from the perspective of people, process, technology and data.
* Collaboration with the Project Manager and business stakeholders to plan the business analysis activities.
* Eliciting, validating and consolidating the high level business requirements, including any significant business rules that will influence the business solution design.
* Analysing, validating and communicating the requirements using appropriate documentation and modelling techniques.
* Collecting and validating the non-functional requirements. This includes performance, implementation design, usability, security and audit, and appropriate legislative requirements.
* Refining the business analysis models, including ""to be"" business processes, business entity definition and relationship models, behaviour models and other supporting material.
* Supporting the IT QA activities by ensuring acceptance criteria are well documented and have the appropriate level of coverage.
* Collaborating with the Project Manager and stakeholders to plan post implementation assessments, benefits tracking and realisation.
* Supporting the business during warranty and ensuring that any defects or enhancement requests are well defined and prioritised appropriately.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

* Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in the use of Visio process mapping software and MS Project
* Comfortable in preparing and giving presentations to senior management
* Working within a multi-disciplinary team and independently managing own workload efficiently
* Experience in gathering and documenting high quality business requirements (including functional and none functional)
* Experience of working closely with business stakeholders to transform business processes and drive efficiency
* Good understanding of IT technical infrastructures and interfaces
* Modelling and communicating business process and solution design to varying audiences
* Experience of the full project life cycle from project initiation through to benefits realisation.
