Business Analyst

Job description / Role

- Responsible for calculating and estimating of commercial proposals, producing detailed estimate of costs, schedules, analysing tender documentations and making recommendations of any financial risks associated with new contracts.
- Analysing cost elements of the tenders in order to achieve best possible price and cost efficiency
- Producing Profit and Loss Account projection and forecasts as well as operational budgets for operation team
- Financial and investment analysis of new tenders for management review
- Preparation financial information according to Compass Group Approval Manual communicating with different countries within Middle East to make sure all financial aspects (i.e taxation, bank guarantees, customs fees, insurance etc) are properly accounted in tender proposal

Requirements

- University degree in Finance or Commerce
- Work independently
- Gather and analyze cost data
- Use advanced spreadsheet and database skills, including developing costing models
- Work under the time pressure performing several tasks at the same time
- Working knowledge of cost accounting principles
- Basic knowledge of investment analysis
- Make presentations to groups
