Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client are a leading organization within the Financial Services market in Qatar.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for the various activities that will be undertaken within the Strategy section of the Company. The Business Analyst will conduct research, analysis and provide recommendations with regard to the various strategic initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

1. External Environment Assessment:
Support the monitoring of market changes to enable the company to improve its positioning in relation to meeting businesses needs. Support the production of reports that assess the companies positioning in the external environment.

2. Research:
Undertake detailed data collection and analysis on a range of internal and external data to inform management decision making. Produce and make comprehensive but targeted and insightful reports and/or presentations that summarize findings and recommendations in order to inform management decision making. Contribute to the development of feasibility studies and other business research necessary for the expansion of company operations as assigned. Conduct focused research to identify and evaluate new strategic initiatives on an ongoing basis.

3. Corporate Strategy:
Contribute to the development of the corporate strategy to match opportunities with strengths and neutralize potential threats and risks. Contribute to the development of the corporate strategy as well as various business strategies. Analyze and understand key business drivers that influence all strategic initiatives pursued by the Strategy section. Assist the Associate Director of Strategy and the Senior Business Analyst with day to day administrative tasks for assignments pertaining to the development of the Corporate Strategy and/or the strategic initiatives.

4. General Responsibilities:
Contribute to Qatarization and the Qatar National Vision 2030 by transferring knowledge and achieving excellence. Actively follow and promote relevant policies and procedures. Perform other tasks and duties that may from time to time be required in order to meet the requirement of the role and the objectives of the company.

Requirements

- Educated to MBA level from a reputed Institution
- 2-3 years of experience in a management / strategy consulting or institutional research position
- Strong analytical and communication skills are required for this position
