Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:
An individual able to support the KR MENAT consulting team to deliver creative solutions which enable our Clients to make better commercial decisions through the provision of high quality insight, information and tools.

Main responsibilities:
The role will contribute to the timely delivery of internal and external projects to the satisfaction of the Line Manager on a project by project basis. These will include the development of a desk and field based assessment of the Retail & Market landscape in the region and specific project support for consultants on a range of client projects.

Client Specific Responsibilities:
- Analyzing a variety of information from multiple published data sources and collating key insights
- Manipulation of data sets in various electronic mediums
- Design and development of simple Excel-based (or similar) tools and models which are highly professional in appearance, functionality and ease of use, to aid the clients decision making process
- Attending and supporting Client engagement sessions including support in generating proposals
- Development of creative PPT selling and engagement decks with specific guidance and inputs from the client director

General Business Responsibilities:
- Development of ad hoc reports on specific topics of interest determined by the Consultancy team
- Review and summary of published articles from sources such as the internet and magazines for delivery to the Consultancy Team
- Management of company Web Site and Social Media platforms

Retail Analysis:
- Conducting basic research through the monitoring of activities of selected retailers through press / on line / store visits / interviews in order to build close understanding and information to support the KR Consulting and KR Retails Insight business.
- Tracking retailers for news, insights and posting these on KRIQ database on a specific schedule
- Assisting Consultants to create presentations on economic developments, consumer/channel developments related to retail
- On-field visits to retail stores and writing store visit summary reports highlighting the key aspects, such as Shopper analysis, marketing & promotion, merchandizing, store layout and design, etc.

University Graduates may only apply.
Reporting to: Regional Director
Duration: Permanent Position
Desired start date: Immediate
Probation: 3 months
Working Hours: Sun - Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

* Advanced technical Excel capability
* Visual Basic / Pivot tables / Data base management
- Ability to design and maintain basic web page structure
- Willingness to learn new tools, with support from Kantar Retail
- Proactive seeking of new information technologies and systems
- Experience in desk research and report writing
- The ability to function within a highly reliant team working environment
