Business Analyst

Job description / Role

- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
- Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; training users.
- Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst
- Project management skills and/or certification.
- Experience preparing business requirements, working with use cases, business process modeling or data modeling, or preparing use-case or sequence diagrams.
- Technical understanding of system being analyzed and how it affects the various business units.
- Good at handling and meeting deadlines.
- Multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and keep up with project scope changes.
- Good presentation skills, and ability to communicate with various audiences, including end users, managers, and members of the IT team.
- Nationality Preferred: Saudi, Egyptian, Jordanian, Lebanese, Pakistani & Sri Lankan
