Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for achievement of business targets.
- To ensure that the procedures and regulations of the Bank / controlling authorities are scrupulously followed.
- Involve in formulation and implementation of marketing strategies with the objective of booking new business, maximizing revenues / yield, cross selling products and augment quality assets to achieve budgetary targets.
- Interacting with customers / their representatives for understanding and meeting their requirements, negotiating terms, pricing, collateral security etc.
- Analysing financial statements, business processes of customers and preparing credit proposals as per standards defined by bank.
- Recommend facilities / excesses to the appropriate authority / Management for approval through defined channels.
- Conduct visits to the customers offices / sites / factories as per the banks policies.
- Preparing offer letters to the customer as per standards defined by bank.
- Ensuring timely completion of documentation and other formalities by the customers for securing the interest of the bank.
- Setting up of limits / Interest rates / codes in the system correctly.
- Handles referrals from TFD / Branch and Cheque referrals and attends them in effective manner.
- Coordination with other departments (CAD/TFD/Branch) for smooth operations in the accounts as per approved terms and conditions.
- Renewals / Quarterly Reviews / Risk Ratings to be ensured in timely manner.
- Ensures timely and accurate submission of MIS and follow-up reports and returns for the Management review and reports for regulatory agencies as required.
- Ensures timely recovery of scheduled recoveries in the accounts on the due dates and follow up with the customers for obtaining the insurance policies / valuation reports and other required documents.
- Responsible for quality of assets in the portfolio. Follow up for regularisation and recovery of sticky/special mention/classified accounts in the portfolio.
- Attends to LRM / Audit replies in accurate and timely manner.
- Monitor the unutilised accounts in order to explore reasons for not utilising facilities by personal follow-ups. Initiates and recommends corrective action(s) including redressal of grievances / issues as required.
- Customer File maintenance for the portfolio.

Requirements

- A candidate should be a Diploma holder with a minimum of 5 years of experience in related feild or Bachelor Degree holder with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Banking.
- Omani National preferred.
- Should possess effective communication and presentation skills (Oral and Verbal).
- Should be able to meet deadlines and targets.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Should possess good leadership and decision making skills.
- Should possess good financial Analysing skills.
- Should possess excellent knowledge of MS Office in Arabic & English.
- Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic.
