Job description / Role
The individual shall be required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Leading the commercial and exploratory portfolio development activities related to business priorities
- Initial contact and new customer development
- Support potential innovation opportunities for the responsible markets
- Key account management of some regional customers
- Communication of monthly market information covering the following
- Customer activity
* Market trends
* Competition positioning
* Monitor and understand market trends, customer needs and competitive activity to help shape new business strategy
Requirements
All prospective candidates are required to hold the following attributes in order to be suitable for the role:
- Chemical Engineering/Chemistry related University degree qualification (or equivalent)
- Must be fluent in Arabic and English
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Middle East chmemical and industrial marketings as well as related application provess
- Technical understanding and industry experience required
- Knowledge of relevant materials as well as production and application processes
- Able to track record of new business development
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability in direct account management
- Able to work with global and multifunctional teams
- Result driven, flexible, strong negotiator and capable of complex selling processes
- Must have excellent communication skills for both internal and external audiences
- Ready to travel 50% of the time
