Job description / Role
The Role:
The selected candidate will help identify, develop and implement a business opportunity aiming at increasing revenues out of non-traditional products and/or services. Analyze potential, establish contacts, support definition of required resources, liaise with internal departments, carry out negotiations and field research, prepare the business plan and seeks corresponding approvals.
Main Responsibilities:
Assists to identify, prioritize and evaluate non-traditional business opportunities in a given area (accessories, field services, stocking programs, coating, connectors, etc) with Planning and Front End support.
Analyzes the attractiveness, the feasibility and the commercial viability of the opportunity for the company, proposing further action or rejection of the initiative.
Understands and evaluates the key factors to increase revenue: price, volume, specific products, delivery, local content, connections, etc.
Interacts with the internal departments related with the project (Engineering, Administration, Front End, Planning, etc), outlines strategy and establishes the initial project Action Plan, working closely with the business unit Managers.
Supports the definition of the business structure and facilitates the development of necessary contacts with target and related stakeholders.
Presents new products and services to the management, carries out negotiations in those required cases with the relevant parties and manages required approval.
Coordinates the implementation, monitors performance, issues reports and makes necessary adjustments.
Once the business is fully developed, in steady state and performing as planned, handovers the business to the line.
Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
Requirements
Business Development Analyst - Middle East
Location: UAE, Dubai
Seniority/Experience required: 2-4 years
Education requirement: Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineer preferred, Chemical, Industrial or Civil as alternative
Language: English advanced mandatory; Arabic Mother Tongue
Mobility (Relocation availability): Travelling once week per month approx.
