Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An established architectural practice seeks motivated and hands on Business Development Assistant to work closely with our Regional Business Development Manager.

Role:
- Interpret “Requests for Proposal” (RFP) received from clients
- Assemble company response – CVs, project sheets, letters – in collaboration with directors
- Able to query requirements directly with client
- Liaison with sub-consultants that may join bidding team
- Maintain database of enquiries received, response date, follow up actions
- Assemble all bid information materials as necessary and organise delivery to the client
- Miscellaneous administrative duties

Requirements

- Well organized, able to work under pressure
- Very good English skills – written, spoken
- Confident manner, able to make phone calls to clients/sub-consultants and write correspondence
- Knowledge of InDesign software package would be useful
- Able to work independently when required
- Graphic design skills useful but not essential
- Hands on and able to prepare bid material from scratch and collate for delivery
- Flexible (occasionally deadlines will necessitate late working)

Candidates with proven experience in a similar Business Development, Document Control, Customer Service or Administrative role will be highly regarded.
