Business Development Associate
Our client is one of the world's leading providers of innovative visual information technologies (comprehensive, customized solutions that include consulting, software, technical services, and hardware integration) with offices around the world. Main clients ate leading government laboratories, energy companies, universities, manufacturing and design firms, U.S. armed forces, and other users of visual information technologies.
This position is responsible for identifying, developing, evaluating, and helping close sales opportunities in the Middle East. Their primary goal is to increase our sales opportunities in the region and to build strong and lasting relationships within new accounts. This will involve lots of cold calling and face to face visits and very close coordination with their manager.
Cold calling and identifying new opportunities
Qualify and develop leads assigned
Build relationships with key accounts and network within those accounts
Regular planned visits to clients and potential clients throughout the region
Update CRM system on a daily basis
Give presentations and product demonstrations to clients/prospects
Provide support to Sales Managers in business development in the Middle East region
Arrange for a week of joint meetings with sales manager every month
Provide weekly update on sales funnel and forecast
Contact all assigned accounts on a monthly basis
Daily calls with sales manager to assign tasks and review previous days work
Monthly call with Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales to review activities in the region.
Help develop solutions and proposals for clients
Assist Marketing department with marketing material targeted at Middle East region
Meet with vendors in region to develop relationships
Network throughout Middle East region and attend relevant events and trade shows
Ability to provide translation services (spoken and written) between Arabic and English
Document in writing in CRM system all conversations and visits with clients/potential clients, vendors, others
Maintain accurate details of sales funnel and forecast for accounts assigned
Complete and submit travel requests in a timely manner
Complete weekly timesheets to the nearest 0.25 hour while assigning all time to various projects and accounts
Track, document, and submit all expenses in a timely and accurate manner
Identify and create corporate processes as needed
