Business Development Director - UAE

Our client is a multi-disciplinary infrastructure services consultancy firm whose operations span across the UK, Europe, Middle East & Australasia.

Executive position in the development and implementation of the business strategy across both infrastructure and transportation sectors in the UAE & other GCC locations

The Business Development Director will be responsible for the management of all activities related to the development of the business related to wining work within UAE & other GCC locations.

- Market strategy development and implementation in conjunction with regional infrastructure & transport directors
- Grow the business to annual targets and achievement of increasing delivery of bids and win rates
- Raise and prompt the profile of the firms brand across the chosen project targets - including delivery of a marketing strategy
- Bid management, commercial reviews and bid modelling

Requirements

- Industry relevant higher education qualification (degree)
- Professional Membership affiliations are desirable
- Senior (20 years+) knowledge & experience in delivering infrastructure & transportation projects in the MENA region
- Strong and demonstrated business development, client interfacing/management and proven abilities in winning work within this sector
- Strong understanding of the consultancy market
- Networks of contracts to support successful business development though the UAE & GCC
- Willingness to travel around the GCC frequently
