Business Development Executive - AF Travel - Al Futtaim Group - Dubai, UAE

The ideal candidate attracts corporate clients, Travel Agents and Incentive Houses by proposing innovative group itineraries for meeting, incentives and events and provides quotations, ensuring that the same are processed, followed up and actioned accordingly. The candidate will be a highly motivated team player and self-starter, capable of multi-tasking. Must be able to maintain excellent relations with principals and suppliers negotiate best rates and plan/execute site visits and inspections.

Responsible for generating MICE departments revenue with individual annual sales of AED 5 million with retention of 10 to 15%.

Requirements

- Graduate
- 2-3 years experience in the MICE department of a leading Destination Management Company in UAE in a coordination, sales and operational capacity
- Excellent communication skills in English. Bilingual skills will be an advantage
- Thrives in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Valid UAE driving license
