Employment: Full Time

Triage is looking for a Business Development Executive / Country Manager or one of our prestigious client based in Oman.

The BDE / Country Manager will be responsible for achieving revenue targets by maintaining good relationships with clients, identifying prospective clients & establishing relationships with them, generating leads and following through on these to close deals.

This position is responsible for:
- Achieving Sales Targets in terms of
- Revenues
- Profitability
- Establishing & Maintaining good relationships with clients - new & existing
- Ensuring Timely invoicing & collections of Receivables
- Achieving & sustaining High Customer Satisfaction

PRIMARY TASKS & ACTIVITIES:
- Identifying prospective customers within GCC - by making cold calls, references from own network, leads given by colleagues within our client.
- Meeting Customers - current & prospective to understand their needs & requirements so as to identify potential opportunities for our client.
- Interacting regularly with current & prospective customers so to maintain good working relationships with them and understand their needs/requirements & expectations as well as the time frame in which they expect to place an order.
- Generate leads through own network as well as by responding to Tenders / Inquiries floated in newspapers / Internet.
- Engage with customers who have an active requirement so as to understand their needs, specifications & requirement etc.
- Obtain Project Specifications / Tender Documents etc so as to be able to prepare a proposal.
- Ensure timely submission of Quotations / Proposals against enquiries by co-ordinating with other functions within our client.
- Regularly engage with potential customers to stay updated on the project status as well as influence them to place the order on our client.
- Obtain complete & up to date information (including competitor information) in respect of projects which are in the pipeline so as to enable successful bidding for projects.
- Coordinate with other functions within our client to facilitate negotiation of Project Terms & Scope with the client.
- Follow up with the Customer to ensure release Purchase Order.
- Communicate Order status to other functions within our client on a weekly basis.
- Ensure details of Projects Awarded are communicated to Projects Team on a timely basis.
- Coordinate with Projects Team & Customer to ensure timely preparation and sign off on the Project Documents (such as Contract, Plan, Scope & Terms).
- Co-ordinate with Projects Team & Customer to ensure timely delivery & installation as per Contract / Project Plan.
- Interact regularly with the client as well as on-site Project team to obtain feedback on progress, issues/concerns if any.
- Work with functions within our client to share customer feedback and ensure timely resolution of issues/concerns - clients as well as on-site Project teams.
- Ensure timely Invoice Generation as per terms of Contract in consultation with Projects and Accounts/Finance.

Requirements

- Graduate Engineer or MBA
- 2-4 years in Sales / Customer Relationship Management , preferably in the Construction / Fabrication Industry.
