Job description / Role
- Provide excellent employee support and external customer service.
- Coordinate communication with business partners to have a seamless flow of information.
- Serve as communications advisor, speechwriter, community relations consultant, and informed source.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to ensure effective execution of duties within the culture of the company, while meeting the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Create and Develop new clientele/accounts for the company, which may involve cold calls, visits to the clients place for business development and its account servicing and management thereof.
- Work on the marketing plan and strategy with the Marketing and Group Sales Manager.
- Develop annual public relations plan for Marketing the property.
- Schedule, coordinate and complete all aspects of the internal communications plan, reporting in accordance with policies, practices, and programs.
- Organize and time work assignments in order to maintain the greatest efficiency in the scheduling and implementation of the internal communication plan.
- Ensure all required promotional and printed materials are received and in proper positioning for each event.
- Produce major press coverage for on-property events representing the Company in off-property events and meetings.
- Host visiting press/media representatives, arranges invitations, entertainment, transportation, and accommodations as necessary; assists with ongoing promotional events.
- Execute all promotional activities including an interview and hire attendants/talent, schedules food and beverage elements, and communicates expectations of affected departments, initiate collateral, and signage production.
- Propose and creates new and unique promotional ideas and work with selected vendors via the bid process.
- Coordinate photo and video shoots and maintain and supplement photo library.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of public and media relations, community relations programs, policies, and strategies.
- Position will be focused on media development and community relations that build and strengthen the Companys reputation.
- Approve and edit company publications including press releases.
- Maintain existing media and develop new local contacts in applicable feeder markets.
- Function as a key crisis management executive, as well as company spokesperson in extraordinary situations.
- Generate marketing-oriented news releases and special exclusive stories to generate incremental business through publicity in newspapers, magazines, and other publications.
- Produce major press coverage for on-property events representing the Company in off-property events and meetings.
- Participate in the cost reviews for controlling the annual budget goals.
- Ensure that there is no compromise in the high standards and expectations as developed by the Wadi Adventure.
- Establish and maintain appropriate professional relationships with regulatory agencies, educational institutions, vendors, and others that may serve as strategic partners.
- Monitor and replenish departmental related supplies and other materials.
- Determine work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
- Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of co-workers; and
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned by Marketing and Group Sales Manager
Requirements
- Two to Three years, relevant experience preferably in the Hospitality / Retail Industry.
- Working experience in marketing, sales, and special events (public relations or entertainment/music industry
Background can be applicable substitutes). Previous experience in working in a Water Park Adventure preferred
- Experience with and knowledge of developing tactical and strategic media plans.
- Experience with creative design and brand recognition.
- Experience with community and staff relations.
- Familiarity with all laws pertaining to promote international and local events and activities.
