Job description / Role
Al Futtaim Travel, part of the Al Futtaim Group of Companies, offers travel consulting services in the leisure and corporate markets from multiple outlets in Dubai. Our leisure business caters for all market sectors.We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Operations Executive to work within our Dubai based operation. Reporting to the Division Manager Leisure and MICE, your main responsibility will be to undertake day to day operations of FIT/GIT, Reservation Hotel Accommodation, Visas, Transfer, Tours & Excursions, Meet & Greet services.
Your other responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring prompt replies and personal attention to all clients.
* Update the Manifest and common file as required in real time basis.
* Accurately record and charge all services and transactions rendered to the clients in the required format and back office system.
* Provide administrative services related to reservations and ensuring that all required services are done to the satisfaction of the clients.
* Preparing quotations for Inbound FIT /GIT.
* Maintain the mailing list of all clients and update as necessary.
* If required to meet and greet clients on arrival , departure or during the stay.
* To coordinate with the suppliers with regard to reservations, rates & other related matters.
Requirements
To apply for this role you must have the following skills, qualifications and experiences:
* Higher Secondary School /University Graduate.
* 3-4 years in Tourism Industry as Inbound Operations Staff.
* Fluent in English, friendly and customer focused.
* Local knowledge and product awareness.
* Good Interpersonal Skills and team player.
* Flexible in office timings and available on call.
The Retail Branch works on a shift pattern which will be discussed at interview so you should be flexible with the hours you are willing to work.
