Job description / Role
Tektraco is an established company offering a portfolio of products servicing different specialised industries in Malta and the North African market. We are the leading company in Malta providing Medical Gas Systems for the Healthcare Industry offering our clients a complete solution from the design stage right to the commissioning of the installed equipment.
As part of our growth in the Middle Eastern region, we are seeking to recruit a 'Business Development Executive' to join our Medical Gas Division for a permanent job in this region. In this role your responsibilities will include the following:
- To identify upcoming public and private projects related to the Healthcare Industry.
To identify those establishments who are likely to be involved in the design and execution of such projects namely;
- Consultants
- Mechanical & Electrical Contractors
- Hospital engineers and managers
- To market intensely the Medical Gas activity through regular visits to potential clients as well as to deliver presentations whenever required.
- To liase with Tektracos in-country partner company's in all matters related to project work.
- To actively follow up enquiries as well as proposals and report on their status accordingly.
- To handle all logistical requirements both with respect to visits from the company as well as to the start-up of projects.
- To set up meetings in anticipation of visits from Technical and marketing personnel from the Company.
- To report on a regular basis progress being made on each and every identified project.
Requirements
- A degree (or equivalent) in Commercial / Business studies.
- An aptitude towards technical engineering subjects will also be looked at positively.
- Experience in the Medical Gas field and/or the Hospital Sector will be considered an asset.
- Ability to travel as and when required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English. Arabic language skills would also be considered an asset.
- Preferably to have some working experience in the GCC region.
- Be a very good team player and at the same time be able to plan & work on your own initiative.
- Be pro-active and have the drive to follow up and support our clients requirements.
